How Does Laundry Pickup & Delivery Work?

Laundry pickup and delivery combines a scheduled transportation service with Wash & Fold. You request pickup, the address and timing are confirmed, and clean folded laundry is returned.

Step 1: request pickup

Provide the pickup street address, city, ZIP code, preferred date, and a rough number of bags. This gives the team enough information to check eligibility and scheduling.

Step 2: confirm the address and schedule

Princeton Laundry currently limits service to addresses within 10 miles. The team confirms distance and availability before pickup; submitting a request does not promise immediate service.

Step 3: pickup and Wash & Fold

After the pickup is confirmed, the laundry is collected and receives Wash & Fold service. Share reasonable instructions through the request form or directly with the team.

Step 4: return delivery

The finished laundry is returned at the confirmed time. Transportation charges apply to both the pickup trip and return trip.

What does transportation cost?

Within 5 miles, transportation is $7.99 each way. Over 5 miles through 10 miles, it is $11.99 each way. These fees are separate from the Wash & Fold rate.

How to prepare

  • Check pockets and separate anything requiring special care.
  • Use bags that can be moved safely.
  • Provide access notes only when relevant.
  • Keep your phone available in case the team needs to confirm the pickup.

First-time pickup questions

Provide an address, preferred date, useful access notes, and an approximate number of bags. The team confirms service eligibility and scheduling before travel. Keep your phone available in case a detail needs clarification.

Charges are separated for transparency

Wash & Fold and transportation are different charges. Within 5 miles, transportation is $7.99 for pickup and $7.99 for return. Over 5 miles through 10 miles, it is $11.99 for pickup and $11.99 for return. The laundry itself is charged at the applicable Wash & Fold rate.

Before the driver arrives

Check pockets, secure laundry in manageable bags, separate anything needing discussion, and make sure the pickup location is accessible at the confirmed time. Do not include an item that the team has not agreed to handle. Return timing is scheduled based on availability rather than promised instantly.
